Sustainability
ISO 14001, an environmental management system, is what guides us when we talk about sustainability. CCS employees are frequently reminded of the importance of good environmental practices, and these go far beyond selective waste collection. Focused on our values, such as respect for life, health, and the environment – in addition to compliance with legislation and ISO 14001 guidelines – at CCS we seek to promote actions that ensure sustainability for all parties involved in our processes and in our daily routine, including suppliers, customers, employees and the community. We have developed actions such as water reuse, recycling of production inputs (thinner and pallets), equipment replacement aiming at low energy consumption (led lamps), installation of devices to control the water flow in the bathrooms, and process optimization to reduce the waste generated, besides performing all the necessary monitoring to ensure that our operations do not harm the environment. Here at CCS innovation is part of our DNA and it is through this that we develop actions focused on sustainability.
